Guidelines on applying for a grant!

Grant Application

ELIGIBLE - APPLICANTS SHOULD FURNISH THE FOLLOWING:

  • Completed Bell Helicopter Textron Charitable Trust  
  • Cover letter on your organization's letterhead providing information about

    • Your programs 
    • Activities 
    • History 
    • Goals 
    • Key achievements 
    • Information about the specific project or capital request and how it relates to the needs of the community 
    • Dollar level of support requested 
    • Suggested payment timetable (i.e., one-time, multi-year) and if applicable, the deadline for receiving fund
       
  • A copy of your 501(c)(3) tax-exempt determinate letter from the Internal Revenue Service 
  • A current operating budget for the organization and a proposed project budget if the grant is for a specific project or capital campaign 
  • Audited financial statements for the most recently completed year and/or Annual Report 
  • A list of the organization's officers, board of directors, and staff
