Offsite Courses

The Bell Helicopter Training Academy will conduct technician, or pilot ground and flight training at the customer's facility upon request.

It is recommended that requests for offsite training be submitted at least 60 days in advance to arrange instructor availability. The customer must provide necessary training aids (tools, audio/visual equipment, etc.)

Maximum allowable enrollment for an offsite class is:


Pilot Ground:
- 10 Students


Component Overhaul:
- 8 Students


Field Maintenance:
- 12 Students


Electrical & AFCS:
- 8 Students

Charges for Offsite Training ( Pilot or Technician )

 

Charges for offsite training are as follows:

  • A training day rate of $3,000 for each day of training
  • Travel days
    1. - International travel, 2 travel days at $3,000 each ( $6,000 total)

  • Round-trip airfare costs
    1. - business class for international
(International rates apply to Alaska, Hawaii and foreign countries.)
  • Ground transportation costs (car rental, taxi, etc.)
  • An additional $450 per training day will be charged for training conducted on Saturday or Sunday.
  • There will be a $750 charge for each student in excess of maximum allowable enrollment.
