Customer Support & Services

Bell’s customer support and services program is designed to meet the needs of commercial and foreign military helicopter operators. Four service segments combine to provide a total solution for customers worldwide.

 

Integrated Support Solutions

This segment includes Bell’s international sales and marketing team, five Support Centers located strategically around the globe, more than 150 Bell approved customer service facilities worldwide for aircraft maintenance, online automated parts distribution, online warranty service, component overhaul and helicopter refurbishment services. Our employees provide service to customers in seven languages around the world.

 

Product Support

Bell’s office in Mirabel, Canada, has a Product Support Engineering (PSE) team for each helicopter model, on call 12 hours per day, 7 days a week. We also have more than 50 Customer Support Representatives (CSR) available 24/7 for onsite service and support at locations around the world. Our customers have immediate access to the latest product information, safety notices, technical bulletins and other data at Bell Helicopter’s website, www.bellhelicopter.com. Our technical manuals consistently rate among the best in the industry.

 

Bell Customer Training Academy

Training has been an integral part of our customer support program for more than 50 years. We have trained over 100,000 customers from every market segment in more than 120 countries throughout the world. The state-of-the-art Bell Helicopter Customer Training Academy occupies 100,000 square feet of classroom, lab and hangar space in Fort Worth, Texas. Our maintenance and pilot instructors also offer on-location training at customer sites, reducing customer travel costs and providing customized training for specific environments.

 

Customization, Refurbishment, Accessories, and Maintenance

In 1999, Bell purchased Edwards & Associates, which leads the industry in helicopter refurbishment and new aircraft customization. Aeronautical Accessories, Inc., manufactures quality helicopter accessories and parts including windows, interior trim and mission-specific kits. Rotor Blades, Inc., specializes in rotor blade repair and overhaul. Edwards completes more than 40 Bell Helicopters a year at its 78,000-square-foot facility in Bristol, Tennessee.
